Pastor of Family Ministries
Pastor Art joined the pastoral team at Emmanuel in June of 2009. Prior to becoming our Pastor of Family Ministries he served as senior pastor, executive pastor and associate pastor at churches in Spokane, WA and Richland, MI. He has also been executive director of Mahackeno YMCA Camp in Westport, CT and Camp Spalding in Newport, WA. He was ordained by Calvary Chapel in 1987. He is a member of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors) and is a certified Prepare-Enrich Marriage and Premarital Counselor. Art has both a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in recreation administration/ outdoor education and camping. He has been married to his wife Marty for 38 years. Marty is an R.N. with Group Health. She grew up in Pakistan while her parents served as missionaries at Taxila Christian Hospital. They have one daughter, Keli, who is a nurse practitioner at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. Their son-in-law, Ryan, is a pharmacist and part owner of Kelly-Ross Pharmacies in Seattle. They have one grandson, Cole.
