It also works on other computers, such as your laptop, regardless of your connection, so it’s great if you travel. This is a great system for providing outside accountability, because there is absolutely no way for you to bypass your own filter — you must ask a brother in Christ to bypass the blocking for you!

If you want to have totally customized control over your family’s internet and computer usage, this is a great filtering system. Not only does it filter the internet, but parents can set up a list of safe sites that their kids are allowed to visit, while ALL other websites are blocked. This is a fantastic filter and parental control software at a great price. You can also control how much time each child is allowed to use the computer on a daily basis. You can also maintain a list of “allowed” websites for each person, which will override the filter. If you want tons of flexibility and control, and you have someone in your household who can safely hold the password (your wife, for example) then this might be the filter for you. Keep in mind, one person HAS to administer the filter — this account has total access to the internet, and cannot be filtered. So the administrator must be someone in your household who does NOT have a problem with internet pornography.
