Welcome

Finally there is a play group for moms! Welcome, Mothers of Preschoolers! Here, we focus on YOUR needs, while your children are being cared for by our loving caregivers. Our meetings are designed to provide you with opportunities to relax, make new friends, enjoy adult conversation, learn a new skill or craft, hear inspirational and informational guest speakers, and engage in group discussions on topics of interest to Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS).

As moms, we long to create homes where our families can thrive and grow — and we can too. Our homes must be safe places – physically and also emotionally safe. In them we bond, we eat and play and rest together, we decorate and provision our special home spaces. Our theme this year is ADVENTURES IN MOTHERING.

What is MOPS? Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is for moms of children from pregnancy through kindergarten. It’s a place to take a much deserved break as we all share in the challenges and rewards of raising children during this critical window of time. Meetings include informative and inspirational guest speakers, creative activities, adult conversation, refreshments and more! Childcare is provided!

What does it cost? If you decide to become a MOPS mom there’s an annual $20 MOPS registration fee, and a $5 fee for each meeting. Ask about discount available when entire year is paid up front. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please ask about fee waivers and work trades to offset financial hardships. If you’re a first time guest, the meeting is on the house!

When and where do you meet? 2nd & 4th Tuesday each month, from 9:15-11:15 a.m. in the sanctuary at Emmanuel Bible Fellowship
